Steps to arrest Gas Leak by Anil Jain Refex

  1. Please go through the product label and safety data sheet.
  2. Make sure there is enough ventilation.
  3. Do not expose refrigerant cylinders to sparks, flames or hot objects.
  4. While handling refrigerants, wear impervious gloves, safety glasses and other protective device.
  5. In case of contact with eyes or skin, wash immediately with water.
  6. If any chemical spills on the cylinder, immediately clear the surrounding.
  7. Do not lift the cylinder holding the valve.
  8. Never leave an empty cylinder open because moisture in the atmosphere may enter
  9. Never apply direct flame or live steam to the cylinder.
  10. Keep kids away from the usage area.

Generally ISO tanks are developed based on the regulation of international codes for transporting large volumes of liquids via land or water. Some ISO tanks are equipped with refrigerants to carry products requiring temperature control. Such containers are highly dangerous.
